90's space cartoon movie....?

It may have been in the early 2000-ish time frame, but I watched this movie quite a bit when I was little...It was kind of like Treasure Planet, but thats not it. I think remember there being a scene where the main character (a blonde guy, maybe?) was attacked in some sort of starship pub or something. This has been bothering me for days! I just can't figure out what it was! Help??
