i think you can do it, but it is going to take a lot of work. NYU is a very prestigious school, with high standards. Try taking summer school to get a head start, and you are definitely going to have to take most honors next year. If you really want this, you have to step it up big time. Most need atleast a 3.5 GPA to be considered. You really let your grades take a backseat last year. No more D's or C's.

Confused about Speeding Ticket Given?

I was given a speeding ticket in california in violation of civ 22349 (b), in wet conditions. The speed limit was posted as 55 mph, I was travelling supposedly 80+ mph (written on ticket) but in reality I was going just about 78-80 (cruise control was enabled). Officer did not use a radar gun, just floored it until he caught up with me and used his lights. It was in the middle of night and i was just trying to get home. I am 19, this is my first ticket and first traffic violation, I know that the choice for speeding was wrong, I don't want to fight the ticket but I would like to lower it to about 79 or 78mph and maybe attend traffic school. Hey I am currently in the navy stationed on the USS Abrahm Lincoln and I am an Electricians Mate Nuclear. I have just gotten to my ship about 2 mo. ago and I dont think I am going to re-enlist based on personal preference. I don't live in the U.K so I can't really answer that. I've known people that took the IGSCE's though. None of them have ever got an A*.. they're significantly more difficult than the GCSE's. The few that we still keep contact with are in medical school.

Relationship problems, i dont know what to do?

I live in London and he lives in Ireland. We met 6 months ago, after we talked tons online and I decided to fly over there. We've been flying back and fourth maybe once or twice a month ever since. He's at university and I'm still in school, so he's more busy than me. When we first started dating in January, he wouldn't talk to me until 10pm every night and he'd go out clubbing around 4 nights a week. I've been depressed for a long time and even suicidal these past few months and he doesn't understand that the way he makes me feel (not worth it, unloved, unattractive) really does not help my depression! Anything nice he's done (bought me flowers, taken me out, anything sentimental) I've had to ask him to do. He's said if I stop asking him to do things, then he'll do it by himself. But I gave him that chance and it didn't happen. He's said he'll change so many times and that tomorrow will be better, but it never happens. I also found out he'd been camming with other females and saying sexual things to them in the first 2 months of our relationship. He'd also been talking to his ex girlfriend and a girl he was previously in love with (he may still be in love with her..) I just don't know what to think anymore. I even caught him appearing offline to me on msn, and talking to this girl he was in love with instead. But the truth is, he was lying to me from day one because I asked him if he'd been camming with any girls and he said no. I feel like I can't trust him at all. I was sitting on the balcony. The neighbors were in there garden, mother daughter (15) and son (11 i think). The girl was jumping from a small terrace with an old bike and the boy was going on about him wanting to jump too. After a while the mom got tired of her sons nagging and said that he could try to jump, but that he shouldn't complain when he hurt himself. What should I watch on Netflix?

I'm looking really for anything to watch on Netflix. I find it hard to find anything good with so wide a selection and the suggestions netflix gives me do not sound very good. USS stands for United States Ship, and seeing as the Starship Enterprise belongs to the Federation, The name "USS Enterprise" makes no sense. Also, considering Star Trek was a British show, it Would still be HMS if it were based of real life. Even in the new Star Trek movie, i wasn't changed. Im a serious gamer who already ones a desktop that can play any pc games on the market at max settings with ease. I will also have all the current generation video game consoles once my 3ds come in the mail. But my main use for an alienware m11x would be for portability and power so i could play simple things like WoW, Rift, League of Legends, Elder Scrolls IV and Skyrim later this year. I would be taking it places for LAN parties of LoL and Civ V so portability is a must. Do I have a chance of getting into ASU's Barrett Honors College or San Deigo State ?

Actually, not everybody can get in to Arizona State. Contrary to popular belief, a 3.0 GPA is required unless you have outstanding SAT scores or qualifying scores on your ACT. The honors college at ASU is excellent. Even if you weren't going into the honors program, you would find a plethora of great programs at ASU. Just because it is relatively easy to get into doesn't mean that it is easy to succeed once you are in. Getting accepted, well almost anybody can do that at one college or another.. but doing well in college is an entirely different story. That being said, San Diego State would be an awesome college to go to. California is so beautiful and I know a few people who go there that love it. I also know a ton of ASU students who love it. Whatever school you end up choosing, I am sure you will have a good experience.

Have you ever heard of Civilization Revolution? I really want that game bad. I have to take bio, chem, physics, calculus, genetics,statistics, english, western civ stuff, arts, ecology and more. How to improve handwriting?

My handwriting is very messy and although my teachers can read it they sometimes complain. I can't read my own notes and mother never stops moaning at me, but I don't see what I can do. I know all the details because my friend confessed and told me all this yesterday. At school he would buy me extra snacks to take home and for the weekend in case I got hungry. When I went round to his house he always had plenty of snacks in and we always pigged out, me especially as I got bigger I began to lose control of my appetite, there was a point where I knew I was putting on weight, but I felt so hungry that I wanted more. On my birthday we spent the day in town shopping, I asked if we could get lunch and snacks but he said no, I moaned all day about how hungry I was but he said we wern't eating. Then when we got back to his house he had 3 birthday cakes, biscuits, chocolate and eclairs and said it was my birthday feast which I devoured like a pig. By new year of this year I had just hit the 200lbs mark. As of today I weight 230lbs. Yesterday was our annual yearly fitness test. Not surprisingly there was a lot to say for mine considering I can barely jog now. My teacher told me I had gained 80lbs in a year and my fitness had gone from average weight to morbidly obese. As long as all systems on the starship are functioning properly the ship only moves if the captain says so. Beyond that your question would make a lot more sense if you added some units.

How do you make computer players in age of empires III attack you with their whole army?

I'm having problems getting the computer player to send their army at my city I made. I set them to standard and main, but main didn't work for some reason. They will fight when I come over to them, but they don't really move other than that. I want them to right away send the whole army to attack my city. The army is about 50 men. I tried setting the group of soldiers to an army with the army editor, which I think worked. I'm trying to have the scenario be in waves of attacks. First the british attack, and once they are all dead it will trigger the next civ's attack, and on and on. Are there more AIs or something that would make them attack me instead of just standing there and not moving unless I attack them? Please help!!!

I was on Orange PAYG, on the Dolphin animal setup. It said on the website I get 300 free texts and "free mobile Internet". In desperate need of help for training my Lab/Pitbull mix.?

My fiance and I have had this dog since November of 2010. We rescued him from the pound. He was one of a litter of eight male puppies and we were given no information on the parents. He looks like a lab mostly but some people say he has some characteristics of a pitbull as well. My fiance and I DO NOT want to get rid of him, but we are at a loss of what else to do. This is the worst dog we have EVER had. And we have tried everything from cage training to the clicker to a shock collar to a sonic sound remote. Nothing works. If you reprimand him, he actually barks back at you. He doesn't listen AT ALL to anyone telling him to stay off the couch or not to eat food off the table or anything. He bites hard, and when I lay on the bed, he actually bites the back of my neck and my fiances neck. Spanking doesn't work, he still barks and bites back. My fiance and I definitely want children sometime but neither of us trust this dog enough to even let him near OTHER children. If we do get rid of him we can't even consider giving him to a family because he bites. We both love this dog to death and want it to work but he is destructive and has destroyed a leather couch we haven't even had for a month that we still need to make payments on. We live in an apartment, but he goes for daily walks and occasionally goes to the dog park or a friends back yard when we go over for barbeques. We put him through a training course at PetSmart and he failed MISERABLY. He was the barking trouble maker in the class. We got him the shock collar and he learned that he only gets shocked when he barks loudly so he started just moaning quietly enough so that it was still annoying but not shocking him. Neighbours complaing about dogs barking?

So we have 2 dogs. Jack Russell Collie cross. 3 years old. They are well behaved apart from the barking which is NOT excessive. They only bark when people come to the door or walk past the gate which we have tried to cover up so they can't see but just always seem to sense them still! When there are birds in the garden and when a cat is there which is understandable. Also there are dogs either side of us which bark and set each other off so i can't help that. But when ever they do bark its for no more than 10 seconds as we get them inside or tell them no. And the funny thing is she moans about dogs barking and decided to get one her self a few weeks ago. She lives opposite us so our fence is her fence as well where he dog goes up and makes ours bark.
