If you were running a country what would your laws be?

In west civ. we have to do a project where we have to pretend we are a ruler of a country. A part of the project is we have to make a set of 10 rules and I need a little help. I figured out a few but I can't think of of any others. Does anyone have any ideas, I need a little help? If you help me I'll really appreciate it. Thanks.
